ABOUT
I am a New York City-based registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) with a master's of science (MS) in nutrition and exercise physiology from Teachers College, Columbia University. I also have a master's of business administration (MBA) from New York University. I am certified as a personal trainer through ACE. I am a board-certified diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Lastly, I am a past president of the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
I combine a holistic approach with science-based nutrition, exercise, and wellness coaching. Each individual has different needs; not one person has the same nutrition requirements and fitness levels. I look at each person uniquely. I take into account your lifestyle, family, culture, stress levels, sleep, work/school schedules, and current eating and exercise routines. From there, we work together to create a wellness plan. The key is designing realistic, attainable goals. Once goals are developed, a nutrition and exercise plan is designed based on your lifestyle.
I will not ask you to make major changes in your life; it takes small, reasonable steps to achieve our goals. This is an interactive, ongoing process between the client and counselor. I take pride in my work and I am an enthusiastic coach.
When I am not coaching clients, performing workshops, or writing articles, you may find me bicycling, running, swimming, skiing, or rock–climbing. I have competed in triathlons, swimming, cycling, and running races of all distances.
